Jive External Commands

Jive external commands are single commands enclosed in braces. The external commands if, while and the SQL commands - select and execute, are external control structures and must be terminated by a later {end}.

The external Jive commands are:

• if Command, conditional execution
• while Command, looping
• include Command, inclusion of external files
• output Command, redirects Jive output to a named file
• SQL Commands, database access
